Week 3 Tuesday 6/5/18

Tuesday 6/5/18
We begin our day finding a bird in our working room in the dental hygiene laboratory (S-327). The bird kept flying back and forth in the room creating a distraction. As Zack went downstairs to let public safety know there's a bird in the room, members of other teams joined us to help the bird leave the building. Zack returned stating that public safety advised to just let the bird be and that the bird will find its own way out.

We proceed to design the package with the petri dish mechanism. More ideas were exchanged. "Try to keep it simple," Professor Griffo stated about the mechanism. We need to 3-D print pieces for cameras.

The team is considering asking for access to the rooftop for experimental purposes.

The team discussed the coding for the project while comparing it to the previous year's project's coding.

A member of the other team that came to safely capture the wild bird succeeded. The bird has been released back outside into the wild of its natural habitat at Bergen Community College.
